DBDLI community based africentric E-learning System (Pilot Project)

DBDLI, with funding from the Government of Canada, secured under the Community Services Recovery Fund, is thrilled to introduce a ground-breaking response aimed at empowering and elevating our African Nova Scotian community through accessible education. The project will be rolled out through a series of twelve (12) FREE and complimentary learning workshops, not only enriching skills but also weaving stronger bonds within our African Nova Scotian fabric.

Special recognition is directed towards United Way Halifax, the National Funder responsible for disbursing the funding to DBDLI. This allocation will facilitate the provision of valuable learning opportunities to the African Nova Scotian community.

Key Objectives

The e-learning system ensures that education is accessible to all, breaking down barriers that may have hindered learning opportunities in the past.

Community Focused
